Ellie Pink is a filmmaker who tells stories about people — their quiet moments, their collisions, and their transformations. She was mentored by award-winning director Jan Egleson, whose work has won Best Picture at Sundance and who has collaborated with actors including Michael Caine, Kevin Bacon, and Mia Sara. Under his guidance, Ellie honed her craft and developed a sharp, empathetic eye for storytelling.

Her award-winning short film Miss Fortune earned Best Picture and Best Director at national and international film festivals, establishing her as a bold, authentic voice in contemporary cinema. She also directed Claret Night, the debut music video for rising artist LRNZO, bringing cinematic depth and emotion to music storytelling.

Ellie is drawn to narratives that explore relationships — how they shape us, challenge us, and reveal who we are. She approaches every project with curiosity, authenticity, and a commitment to uncovering truth in performance, whether directing her own scripts or collaborating on others’.

She is currently developing her next short film, which will shoot in upstate New York in the summer of 2026. The project tells a story of memory, loss, music, and the people of forgotten Appalachia, continuing her exploration of intimate, human-driven stories rooted in real places and lives.
