Pink Casting

Ellie Pink’s path into casting was shaped by mentorship, collaboration, and a deep love of storytelling. Under the guidance of Emmy Award-winning casting director Judy Henderson at Henderson Casting, and through her early work with Caroline Pickman at CP Casting in Boston, Ellie discovered the delicate balance between instinct and craft — the art of finding the person who doesn’t just play a role, but embodies it.

Ellie’s specialty lies in narrative storytelling castings, where she has collaborated with several award-winning and up-and-coming directors. She works closely with filmmakers to uncover the truth of each character, offering thoughtful options that allow stories to unfold in authentic and unexpected ways. Ellie believes great casting is less about finding perfection, and more about finding truth.

Her experience spans working with large agencies and actor representation, contract negotiation, and collaborating with production companies such as Kinokraft Pictures. She recently cast the newest commercial for Shinesty and works regularly with photographer Grace Roden, shaping talent for her innovative and inclusive photoshoots.

Currently, Ellie is casting Standoff, a bilingual short film in Mandarin and English — a project that reflects her dedication to diverse, authentic storytelling across cultures.

For Ellie, casting is storytelling in its purest form: discovering the people who bring emotion, depth, and life to the frame — and helping stories find the hearts meant to tell them.
